When Lucy met Pamela
My Tiny Exmoor Wedding is the brainchild of cottage owner Lucy Green who thinks big weddings can be too impersonal and expensive. When Lucy met Pamela Woodford, experienced Minehead-based celebrant in the garden at Pilgrim Corner, it was a meeting of minds. Pamela adores weddings, and as a celebrant, she wants the focus to be on the vows, not the monogrammed bathrobes, and pricey (and somewhat unnecessary) accessories.
Combining their expertise gained in the wedding, hospitality, and events worlds, they offer small yet luxury, high-quality weddings where the focus is on the couple and their guests.
Ditch the stress, embrace the love
Popular in America, and often referred to as βAirbnb weddingsβ, we want you to bring those you love the most to Exmoor to stay for three nights or more and get married in Pilgrim Corner, a Tudor thatched cottages. By staying and marrying in one location thereβs no rush, no travel, no stress.
Your wedding, your way
We want you to have your wedding, your way. Put simply, there is no βpackageβ or formula. There are so many options because we are not tied to any suppliers. So for the catering for instance, you can choose a gourmet dining experience with a private chef, a vintage tea party, a picnic on Exmoor, fish and chips on the beach, an oyster cart β in fact, anything you want! There is no pressure to spend big β we can work magic with all budgets. Make it as formal or informal as you like.

Our Complete Coordination package is designed to take the pressure off you in the run up to, and during, your wedding at My Tiny Exmoor Wedding. Weβll be on hand during your stay and throughout your big day so that the only thing that gets hitched is you!
As we are often asked whatβs included in the fee, here it is:
Initial venue tour and planning session
Budget preparation and management
Ceremony planning, support and delivery by our dedicated celebrant Pamela Woodford
Chiavari chairs, tables, white tablecloths, crockery, cutlery and glassware for the ceremony and meal if you are having one (for up to 22 people)
Half a bottle of prosecco per guest (for up to 22 people)
Cake stand and knife, easel and blackboard
Supplier sourcing and management. Taking and storing deliveries
Final preparation meeting approx. four weeks prior
Manage guest requests before the wedding
Meet and greet service for all your guests
Early check-in and late check-out
Venue set up and take down pre, during, and post your stay
Support organising activities for your guests
We always have an emergency kit on hand
You can meet and speak with Lucy and Pamela as many times as you wish during the run-up to your big day.
The list above is for parties of up to 8 or 22 people. We charge an additional fee if you have larger groups (we can accommodate 30 at a reception, for instance). Complete Coordination is a one-off fee of Β£2495 for up to eight guests and Β£3495 for up to 22 guests.
And for completeness, hereβs what is not included: Food and drink, hire of any additional items beyond those listed here, accommodation, and services of all your suppliers. Accommodation is charged at the advertised price on www.exmoorcharactercottages. Our best prices are mid-week during off-peak seasons.
A refundable security deposit is payable on weddings and accommodation.
